Chain Hotels In Kraków

There’s always a slight risk of disappointment when booking a stay at a new hotel, even with reviews and recommendations, and once some travellers find a brand they like, many stick with it. Here is our list of all the Kraków properties with international recognition.

Although Kraków is full of high-quality independent places to stay, it’s not always easy to predict in advance what you’re going to get. I stayed in a lovely boutique hotel the last time I was there but unfortunately the bed just wasn’t comfortable. It’s common for frequent travellers to find a hotel chain that fits their preferences just right and to look for that brand whenever they visit a new city. We’ve compiled all the biggest brand names in global hotel chains below and grouped them according to their parent companies. You’ll find Sheraton, Radisson, Hilton and others, including budget options such as ibis.

  • Garamond a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Less convenient for most tourists, the Metropolo is nevertheless highly-rated for comfort and service and the free parking may make it a good choice for drivers.
  • Campanile Cracovie
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
The Campanile is a very modern, very clean hotel with strong business facilities, but also sits in an attractive part of Kraków’s Old Town.

Hilton Hotels

  • Hotel Saski Krakow Curio Collection by Hilton
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
Newly-renovated Saski is part of the Hilton Curio Collection – a kind of curated range of properties with a particular heritage. In this case, the story is the impressive historic building itself. It’s a statement hotel that looks like it belongs here.
  • Hilton Garden Inn Krakow
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
With views of the Vistula River and Wawel Castle, the 4-star Hilton Garden Inn has good business and fitness facilities.

InterContinental Hotel Group

  • Hotel Indigo Krakow

    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
A luxury hotel with a corporate feel, just outside the Old Town, the Holiday Inn Kraków is spotlessly clean with very helpful staff.

Accor Group

  • The Crown Krakow Center
    (View on Booking.com)
The Crown Krakow Center is a new property from the ACCOR hotel chain’s Handwritten Collection, which has a boutique brief. The rooms and suites here have a burnished, 1920s flavour, with lots of period detail and gold highlights.
  • Mercure Krakow Stare Miasto
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
A 4-star hotel right inside the Old Town, this is a superb choice if you want modern comfort and the romance of traditional Kraków. Good for couples.
  • Mercure Krakow Fabryczna City
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
Out to the east of the city and not so convenient for tourists, this hotel is principally designed as a conference location. As such, the facilities are excellent.
  • Ibis Kraków Stare Miasto
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
Functional 3-star hotel. The location is handy for the train station but otherwise a little soulless. Often good value rooms.
  • ibis budget Krakow Stare Miasto
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
The cheaper, 1-star option in the same location as the previous hotel. Very much value for money if you are travelling on a budget.
  • Ibis Krakow Centrum
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
Close to the river, west of the Old Town, the hotel is not quite as central as the name suggests. If you’ve stayed in an Ibis, you’ll know what to expect: good, functional value for money.
  • ibis Styles Kraków Centrum
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
To the north-west of the Old Town and aimed at younger travellers, this hotel has a striking design – half-tech start-up, half-IKEA store.
  • ibis Styles Kraków East
    (View on Booking.com)
The décor is more organic looking than its central counterpart (see above) but its Nowa Huta location is too far away for most travellers.
  • Bachleda Luxury Hotel Krakow
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
Five-star luxury just outside the Old Town, this is an opulent, maximalist experience, in a city with a lot of competition.
  • Novotel Kraków Centrum
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
Roughly a mile from the Old Town, Novotel Kraków Centrum is a strong choice for families and offers good value.
  • Novotel Kraków City West
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
A decent family hotel, though the location may be too far from the centre of town for some. The hotel has a pool and other health facilities.

BWH Hotel Group

  • Best Western Plus Krakow Old Town
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
Amazing location in a rather beautiful building, this hotel has some eye-popping interiors which may not be to everybody’s taste.
  • Hotel Galicya
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
Located in the up-and-coming Podgorze district, and handy for the excellent Oskar Schindler museum, but a little lacking in personality.

Qubus Hotels

  • Qubus Hotel Kraków
    (View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)
Qubus is a large, modern, and fully-featured hotel with a top floor pool and excellent breakfast. A strong mid-priced choice.
