There’s always a slight risk of disappointment when booking a stay at a new hotel, even with reviews and recommendations, and once some travellers find a brand they like, many stick with it. Here is our list of all the Kraków properties with international recognition.
Sheraton Grand Kraków – image © Booking.com
Although Kraków is full of high-quality independent places to stay, it’s not always easy to predict in advance what you’re going to get. I stayed in a lovely boutique hotel the last time I was there but unfortunately the bed just wasn’t comfortable. It’s common for frequent travellers to find a hotel chain that fits their preferences just right and to look for that brand whenever they visit a new city. We’ve compiled all the biggest brand names in global hotel chains below and grouped them according to their parent companies. You’ll find Sheraton, Radisson, Hilton and others, including budget options such as ibis.
Marriott International
- Sheraton Grand Kraków
The Sheraton Grand Kraków bears all the hallmarks of a 5-star hotel, though it might be considered a little outdated and overpriced.
View on Booking.com - AC Hotel Kraków
A smart and comfortable 4-star hotel about half a mile to the east of Kraków’s Old Town. Also has a pool.

Jin Jiang
- Radisson Blu Hotel Kraków
The location, restaurants and top-class bar mark the Radisson Blu as a luxury hotel, with little 5-star touches in the rooms.
View on Booking.com - Park Inn by Radisson Kraków
Located south of the river, opposite lively Kazimierz, this hotel will feel familiar to fans of the Park Inn brand. Modern with high service.
View on Booking.com - Golden Tulip Kraków City Center
A modern hotel in an attractive building, the Golden Tulip is a smart base for exploring, with impressive breakfasts to start the day.
View on Booking.com - Golden Tulip Kraków Kazimierz
A Kazimierz-based 4-star hotel in the heart of one of Kraków’s most vibrant districts. Clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet for such a busy area.
View on Booking.com - Hotel Metropolo Kraków by Golden Tulip
Less convenient for most tourists, the Metropolo is nevertheless highly-rated for comfort and service and the free parking may make it a good choice for drivers.
View on Booking.com - Campanile Cracovie
The Campanile is a very modern, very clean hotel with strong business facilities, but also sits in an attractive part of Kraków’s Old Town.

Hilton Hotels
- Hilton Garden Inn Kraków
With views of the Vistula River and Wawel Castle, the 4-star Hilton Garden Inn has good business and fitness facilities.
View on Booking.com - DoubleTree by Hilton Kraków Hotel & Convention Center
A large hotel with high-standard rooms and most facilities, including spa. The location is a few miles away from the Old Town.
View on Booking.com - Hampton by Hilton Kraków
Near to the DoubleTree by Hilton (see above), the Hampton by Hilton Kraków offers good service, a solid breakfast, and a fitness suite.
View on Booking.com - Hampton by Hilton Kraków Airport
Handy for those arriving or departing from John Paul II International Airport, this functional 3-star hotel is a short walk away, and a 30-minute train journey from the centre of Kraków.
View on Booking.com - Hilton Garden Inn Kraków Airport
Ideal for business travellers who want to stay close to the main airport, especially if you have an early or late flight. Clean and well-maintained rooms.
View on Booking.com - Conrad Hotel
To the north-east of Kraków, Hotel Conrad is spacious and comfortable, and a good base for business or families with a car.

InterContinental Hotel Group
- Hotel Indigo Kraków
In an impressive, historic-looking building, just north of the Old Town, the Indigo is much-loved by guests, and a perfect location for shopping, transport, and sightseeing.
View on Booking.com - Holiday Inn Kraków City Centre
A luxury hotel with a corporate feel, just outside the Old Town, the Holiday Inn Kraków is spotlessly clean with very helpful staff.

Accor Group
- Mercure Kraków Stare Miasto
A 4-star hotel right inside the Old Town, this is a superb choice if you want modern comfort and the romance of traditional Kraków. Good for couples.
View on Booking.com - Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City
Out to the east of the city and not so convenient for tourists, this hotel is principally designed as a conference location. As such, the facilities are excellent.
View on Booking.com - Ibis Kraków Stare Miasto
Functional 3-star hotel. The location is handy for the train station but otherwise a little soulless. Often good value rooms.
View on Booking.com - ibis Budget Kraków Stare Miasto
The cheaper, 1-star option in the same location as the previous hotel. Very much value for money if you are travelling on a budget.
View on Booking.com - Ibis Kraków Centrum
Close to the river, west of the Old Town, the hotel is not quite as central as the name suggests. If you’ve stayed in an Ibis, you’ll know what to expect: good, functional value for money.
View on Booking.com - ibis Styles Kraków Centrum
To the north-west of the Old Town and aimed at younger travellers, this hotel has a striking design – half-tech start-up, half-IKEA store.
View on Booking.com - ibis Styles Kraków East
The décor is more organic looking than its central counterpart (see above) but its Nowa Huta location is too far away for most travellers.
View on Booking.com - Bachleda Luxury Hotel Kraków
Five-star luxury just outside the Old Town, this is an opulent, maximalist experience, in a city with a lot of competition.
View on Booking.com - Novotel Kraków Centrum
Roughly a mile from the Old Town, Novotel Kraków Centrum is a strong choice for families and offers good value.
View on Booking.com - Novotel Kraków City West
A decent family hotel, though the location may be too far from the centre of town for some. The hotel has a pool and other health facilities.

Vienna House Andel’s Cracow – image © Booking.com
Vienna House
- Vienna House Andel’s Cracow
A clean, modern hotel, close to Kraków Główny train station and the Old Town, Vienna House Andel’s Cracow is particularly good for couples.

Functional, 3-star hotel, popular with business travellers, and nearly 2km from the centre of town.

BWH Hotel Group
- Best Western Plus Kraków Old Town
Amazing location in a rather beautiful building, this hotel has some eye-popping interiors which may not be to everybody’s taste.
View on Booking.com - Best Western Hotel Galicya
Located in the up-and-coming Podgorze district, and handy for the excellent Oskar Schindler museum, but a little lacking in personality.

Qubus Hotels
- Qubus Hotel Kraków
Qubus is a large, modern, and fully-featured hotel with a top floor pool and excellent breakfast. A strong mid-priced choice.
