Despite the charming interior and price of food, Aperitif is a hit and miss affair with decent food sometimes let down by poor service.
Well situated inside Kraków’s Stare Miasto, Aperitif is a lovely, taverna-style with arched ceilings and iron candelabra. On a good night, the restaurant is good value and the tasting menu a reasonable introduction to Polish cooking. The rest of the menu is a mixture of domestic and European styles. It’s a gamble, though, as both food and especially service can be a let down, suffering perhaps from being too focused on tourists.
