Update February 2023: Restauracja Amadeus is now permanently closed.
A quiet, slightly formal restaurant in a hotel basement, Amadeus is a reasonable choice in the upper-mid price bracket, serving Polish and Eastern European classics.
In the upper-mid price tier, Restauracja Amadeus gets reasonable scores across the board. The menu is Eastern European, with an emphasis on national dishes. The zurek is tasty and presentation is generally nice. There’s a decent wine list and efficient service, although the meals can be slow. Well situated in the basement of the Hotel Amadeus, the restaurant itself is quite formal, even a little bizarre, and often quiet.
