Update February 2023: Bombonierka is now permanently closed.
Although the presentation and service can be uneven, Kazimierz’s Bombonierka is still worth a shot, especially for the ‘unusual’ apple pie and other Central European items.
Mid-priced Bombonierka is excellent value. Duck is a big favourite here but keep some space back for the delicious desserts, especially the ‘unusual’ apple pie. Though focused on Polish cuisine, you can also get Eastern and Central European items, and Russian dumplings. Presentation of the food is unfussy and the service is usually professional, if sometimes a little frosty. The restaurant is in Kazimierz.
